First of all, I am a huge Selena Gomez fan, so when I heard that she launched her own beauty brand, then I obviously couldn't wait to get my hands on these products. Only downside is that they don't sell any products in Estonia nor in the neighbour countries, so I had to patiently wait until I could finally travel! Anyways the holy day came when I went to Paris and the first store I visited was Sephora. Nowadays cosmetics cost enough that I didn't grab everything, but tried to choose wisely. Also their formula is vegan and cruelty-free! Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm in Nearly Mauve This incredible lip balm + lip gloss consistency really hydrates the lips while giving you a lovely glossy finish. I really enjoy it on my lips and love the light mauve tone as I don't have anything like it. 10/10 would recommend and buy other shades as well. While a glowy dewy look would be a dream, my oily skin is there to remind me that matte is better for me. It's my first time ever using Shiseido's products, but let's just say that this powder really set high expectations for them. I usually don't spend this much on a mattifying powder, but for a no make-up day, I'd like to keep my oiliness away with a powder that has SPF, is super mattifying and provides a light coverage. So after reading the good reviews, I had to splurge for this.  Shiseido Pureness Matifying Compact Oil-Free I got the shade 'Light Ivory', which is a bit dark for me, but still manages to look natural. I'd say the coverage is buildable to a medium. I don't like to use the applicator that comes with the package, so to keep powder fallout to a minimum, I lightly tap a kabuki brush on and then press onto my face. This product deserved a separate post, because it has been here for me for almost two years and I couldn't be more grateful. My cosmetologist swears by Inika's products, saying they're a bit cheaper alternative to Jane Irendale. Currently I own two of these mineral foundations and one travel-sized version.  The first shade I purchased was Unity P1, which was a bit darker than my natural skin tone, but it was perfect for summer. The travel-sized foundation is shade Unity N1 and I can say that they are quite different. The P1 is more pinkish (hence the P) and for me it seemed a bit lighter, while N1 seems darker with its more yellow undertones. The second time I bought a shade lighter Grace P1 that is my perfect match. I found this post deep in my drafts and thought maybe this could be some useful information for oily acne-prone skinned people looking for drugstore foundations. Before commiting to a foundation, I usually try testers first to see if it's worth to buy. In some stores you can ask the employees for tester packets, but sometimes I also take a little container with me, where I squeeze some of the testers that are displayed (don't take the displayed testers, leave something for the others as well). I think about a lot of things. Some of my thoughts I have even posted here, but since this is more of a beauty blog, especially reviews, I try to keep it that way. Lately I haven't been inspired to even write reviews. I have been cooking a few posts, but I'm not so sure about them. Anyways my make-up obsession has calmed down and I try to create a minimal make-up look for everyday. Usually I would use a perfector for base, mascara and brow mascara. If I feel fancier I add some bronzer and a lip colour. It's important to remember that you don't have to wear make-up. Nowadays most girls do, but it's something that people should do only if they want to, not that they have to. There was a time when I felt confident going to school having only some mattifying powder on my face and mascara, eventhough my skin wasn't clear. The Infallible 24H Matte foundation claims to be waterproof ultra matte for 24 hours. But we all know that's not true. This foundation is supposed to be perfect for oily skin. Coverage is medium, but buildable. It is best to apply this foundation with a brush and not put powder on it (right away). Applying powder on top makes it really dry. But if any shine should pop up after a few hours, then feel free to touch up with powder. I tried the lightest shade available 11 Vanilla. You have to be quick while applying, because the foundation dries fast. It looked matte, natural. Covered most of my imperfections. But at the same time it felt like a mask that sinked into my skin and kept tightly on my face. The only BIG downside to this is that the shades are way too dark and orange. I read that as this foundation dries, it oxidizes, turning the foundation a bit orange (or a lot). And that was my main problem since I'm so pale. Revlon finally made its way to Estonia and the Colorstay foundation has been pretty hyped. Since I've got combination skin right now and I would like the foundation to stay all day, this seemed perfect. I got the lightest shade Ivory 110 and it was a perfect match for me (finally!!). The first time I applied it with Beautyblender, but that was a big mistake. It got patchy and brought out my skin's texture, didn't look natural at all. By skin's texture I mean that my uneven skin, flakes, acne scars, pores and a few pimples were more defined than without any make-up. Then I put on some powder, made it only worse. But at least it lasted pretty much the entire day on my face. The second time I used my Real Techniques expert face brush and it blended so much better. But still brought out the texture, stuck to my dry patches and was really sticky. So I let it set for a while and then applied powder. Didn't make it better. I am disappointed. Why did I just now realize what a serious and horrible issue animal testing is?! Animal testing for cosmetics is cruel. Torturing and killing so many animals just for makeup and skincare is unnecessary. I understand why it was done in the past, but now in the 21st century it shouldn't be allowed anymore as the industry has evolved so much. I made a decision to no longer support the brands that test on animals, which are most of the brands that I find in stores. A foundation that is matte, oil-free, full coverage? Yes, please!  This foundation has an emulsion type formula that brightens and nourishes skin, but also leaves it matte and controls the oil. So it's perfect for oily to combination skin. 13,49€ Usually I have problems finding lighter shades, but since Lumene is Nordic, they have mostly light shades. For me the shade 0 Light Ivory is perfect, but also 00 Ultra Light matched me, I just looked super pale. The coverage is medium to full coverage. It feels so light, but covers pretty much everything. I think the foundation looks better with primer, I usually apply the primer mostly in the T-zone, to keep the oil away and not let the foundation set in my pores.  The foundation leaves my skin looking semi-matte and really natural. I have been making this post for too long, because NYX opened their store in Estonia in October. I of course had to be there at the opening, so I could finally get my liquid matte lipsticks. So school has been pretty crazy lately and I'm always so tired. The stress caused me to breakout and I didn't want to put on any foundation or BB cream, because I knew how oily I would get and too dark shades would just look bad. Oily skin is annoying and so are blemishes. Since school is starting, I was hoping that a BB cream could help me. There aren't many BB creams for oily skin in the market. So after a lot of research, I decided to try the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB cream Oil-Free  in Light. This is perfect for combination to oily skin. I was really skeptical about this, because the Garnier BB creams I've tried before, were so bad. They were so greasy and orange.  Price 10€ This product is supposed to mattify, reduce the appearance of imperfections, boost radiance, hydrate and protect from the sun (SPF 20). This contains mattifying agents and mineral pigments. Has no parabens.   The package is simple and cute, it only leaks a little. The cream itself is more of a fluid, so it melts into the skin. Back to school soon! This year I'm going to high school and that means a lot of shopping. I finally made up my mind about what makeup I'm gonna be using and what look I'm going for. Feelunique.com had 15% off and all the products I needed. I really wanted NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks. After weeks of waiting for them to be back in stock, I gave up. Maybe another time. This is the 7th time I've ordered from FeelUnique and usually my packages arrive in two-three weeks. I ordered 7 items and got 2 samples. Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin Formula 200ml £16.50 I ran out of facial cleansers and I've always wanted to try Clinique products. Also this was cheaper at FeelUnique than in stores. A lot of people have been raving about this powder foundation and since I have oily skin, this seemed perfect. Also really good for traveling. Matches skin colour and texture with 95% minerals.  SPF 15.  No perfume, no preservatives, oil-free, non-comedogenic.   Medium coverage.  I'm terrible at choosing the right shade. So I followed the directions and I kinda see why people love it, I just don't.  The foundation was lightweight, but powder brings out facial hairs. I was surprised by the good coverage, because I've never used a powder foundation before. Surprisingly m y skin got shiny pretty fast. That's a problem for me, especially because this is mineral powder foundation, so I expected this to stay matte longer. Was it too drying for my skin? All I know is that my skin didn't like this foundation. The applicator brush is a bit too harsh on skin, but softer brushes don't blend well. Also the application took longer than it would with a liquid foundation....

I am so tired of buying makeup/skincare products and then being disappointed. I've been trying to find a good BB cream/tinted moisturiser to get a shine-free, even complexion with sun protection. So I did my research, made a top 3 and went shopping. I know that in some stores you can ask for testers, but when you can't, then you should do what I did. I had 2 small empty containers and I discreetly pumped a little of the cream's testers into my containers. Because testers in stores are meant for testing, then why shouldn't I use them. JOIK is a natural cosmetics brand from Estonia. Their products are vegan,100% natural, gluten free and not tested on animals. I have only bought candles from them, so I can't really comment on their products. But it's summer, it's hot and my skin could use some refreshing throughout the day. JOIK 's cute little rosewater spray was too good to pass by.  Price 4€ The rosewater has a great price, small bottle fits in a purse and it smells like roses and rose hip. This is for face and body. You can use this basically any time you want. I've used the rosewater also to set my makeup. This spray leaves a glowing finish, which I just love. I definitely recommend JOIK Rosewater spray. I think a refreshing face spray/mist is perfect for summer. Stay cool!

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer AKA "The Luminizer" is a highlighter, shimmer and eyeshadow in one. The retro cute packaging and a mirror in the compact makes it even better. Just how they put so much effort in the details.  Price 21,99€ The Luminizer is a champagne shade high pigmented and buttery powder, mostly used as a highlighter. It glides on smoothly, has just the right amount of sparkle, no chunks. Just be careful, it's easy to over do the highlight, because of the pigment. This product leaves a healthy and glowy finish. Apply the product lightly on your cheekbones, brow bone, inside corner of the eye, bridge of the nose and very lightly on your chin and forehead.
