Wow, what a year! Graduating high school and starting university. That's also the reason I haven't been posting that much anymore, but I hope I can manage to start posting more this year :)
But let's get to the beauty favourites that changed my life this year.
Skin care
Although my skin is currently not doing so good (damn hormones), this product also changed my skin game this year. Retinol truly does wonders when it comes to acne and skin regeneration. Full review coming soon!
- pHformula E.X.F.O. cleanse
Another great product from my cosmetologist. This is a gentle cleansing exfoliant that I use every night. It's kind of like a cleansing milk, that effectively and gently removes my make-up (even eye make-up) and impurities.
- The Body Shop Vitamin E Refreshing Eyes Cube
Long time favourite of mine. So refreshing in the morning. I love the cooling feel and light hydration under eyes. This is also so small, which makes it perfect for travelling.
Make-up
- Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Yes, I finally bought this iconic mascara and yes, it lives up to the high expectations. My eyelashes have never looked so long, full and nicely separated. Creates a false lashes effect.
- Inika Loose Mineral Foundation SPF 25 (shade Unity P1)
Before this I used Lily Lolo mineral foundation, but let's just say that the more expensive the product, the better it is. Wow, this formula just looks better on my skin and blends so seamlessy and is lightweight, while still providing medium coverage and stays on pretty well.
- Lily Lolo corrector Blush Away
Although I prefer another brand for my mineral foundation, this corrector is just great. This effectively neutralizes my red spots, although doesn't really provide any coverage. Though sometimes I don't even put foundation on, because it blends in so well.
- Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm (shade 001 Pink)
I wasn't sure if this lip balm was worth the price tag, but this leaves me in awe everytime. This balm has a nice soft texture, a kind of perfect lip balm feeling on lips. A bonus for this is the nice sheer shade of pink that adds a touch of colour, which is perfect for me since I don't really wear lip colours often.
Hair care
- Olaplex Hair perfector No. 3
I'm blonde now, which means that my hair is prone to dryness more often. This product helps me deal with that. Although the small bottle is like 30€, it lasts for a long time, cause you don't need to use it that often. But dang this leaves my hair feeling super healthy, soft and shiny, so definitely worth a try.
- Amika Normcore Signature shampoo and conditioner
As I don't really often buy this expensive shampoos and conditioners, these were amazing. Amika's products have the best scents and I could already feel in the shower how much healthier and happier my hair was.
