Rare Beauty Products Review

Image
First of all, I am a huge Selena Gomez fan, so when I heard that she launched her own beauty brand, then I obviously couldn't wait to get my hands on these products. Only downside is that they don't sell any products in Estonia nor in the neighbour countries, so I had to patiently wait until I could finally travel! Anyways the holy day came when I went to Paris and the first store I visited was Sephora. Nowadays cosmetics cost enough that I didn't grab everything, but tried to choose wisely. Also their formula is vegan and cruelty-free! Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm in Nearly Mauve This incredible lip balm + lip gloss consistency really hydrates the lips while giving you a lovely glossy finish. I really enjoy it on my lips and love the light mauve tone as I don't have anything like it. 10/10 would recommend and buy other shades as well. Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream in Courage & Inspire When in Paris I obviously had to get the most popular and Selena's favourite...

UPDATED skincare routine - being 20 and dealing with hormonal acne

Image
If you've read my blog before you know about my struggles with acne. Throughout the years I've tested many products, but my still skin isn't clear. It still has its better and worse days, but this has been my skincare routine for the past year that has helped me keep it somewhat under control with my almost monthly facial treatments. Currently I mostly have acne scars on my chin and cheek area and on average three bumps that come and go. *The links lead to my product reviews. AM 1. Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water This micellar water is a staple in my skincare routine and I love to use it to remove all the oiliness that has surfaced on my skin by the morning. 2. pHformula A.C. Recovery I put only a little of this on my problem spots if necessary. 3. Babe Sunscreen or pHformula SPOT ON Moisture Balance moisturizer Babe Sunscreen SPF 50 was my must-have during the summer. Now that there's not as much sun and I don't spend so much time outside, I prefer to use the pHfo...

Berrichi Eye Cream - review // Berrichi Silmakreem - arvustus

Image
English The reason why I'm writing this review in two languages is because I think this eye cream by the Estonian brand Berrichi deserves as much recognition as possible. What I adore about Berrichi is that their products are natural, vegan and cruelty-free. More about Berrichi here . I'm 20 now and people have said that they usually add eye creams to their skincare routines in their 20's to start preventing wrinkles around the eyes. That's not the reason why I use eye creams though, I just like the refreshed awake feeling and look some eye creams leave me with, but avoiding wrinkles is a good bonus. The Berrichi Eye Cream besides anti-aging properties is also supposed to reduce dark under-eye circles and pigmentation and support skin's natural barriers and protect from UV-radiation and environmental stressors. First I tried this eye cream's tester (it's always good to ask for testers at the store to try at home), which is when I knew this product ne...

2019 beauty favourites!!

Image
Wow, what a year! Graduating high school and starting university. That's also the reason I haven't been posting that much anymore, but I hope I can manage to start posting more this year :) But let's get to the beauty favourites that changed my life this year. Skin care pHformula VITA A cream Although my skin is currently not doing so good (damn hormones), this product also changed my skin game this year. Retinol truly does wonders when it comes to acne and skin regeneration. Full review coming soon! pHformula E.X.F.O. cleanse Another great product from my cosmetologist. This is a gentle cleansing exfoliant that I use every night. It's kind of like a cleansing milk, that effectively and gently removes my make-up (even eye make-up) and impurities. The Body Shop Vitamin E Refreshing Eyes Cube Long time favourite of mine. So refreshing in the morning. I love the cooling feel and light hydration under eyes. This is also so small, which makes...

My 2018 favourite beauty products

Image
I realized how much I love to read my older posts and see what products I've used as I've forgotten most of them already. I also love to read and hear about people's favourite products, so I thought I'd recap my last years favourites. Benefit They're Real mascara When I got my hands on this, I was so excited. This mascara has so many good reviews and for a good reason. I've bought it twice now and just love it. Definitely one of the best mascaras I've ever used. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb So in Italy I found a Sephora and obviously had to buy this amazing lip gloss. I absolutely love how moisturizing it is and the shine and the shade and of course the packaging. Only thing that I find weird is that this lip gloss really sinks into my lips. Like after an hour most of the gloss is gone (into my lips). But still would recommend. Lily Lolo mineral foundation powder Discovering mineral foundations has been one of the best things ever. Th...

Lumene True Mystic Precise Tip Eyeliner - Review

Image
This is a long-wear precise eyeliner. Dark pigment, water resistant formula and short drying time - everything you need in an eyeliner to stay all day. It has a long flexible tip that is easy to use. Since I'm still new with eyeliner, I end up with a mess and a thick line, but I'm getting better. One thing that bothered me was that the very tip didn't color. Like this is supposed to be a precise tip eyeliner, but the tip doesn't work, like what? But later I found ways for it to work a little, so I could do cat eyes with this. I like the pigment and texture. The pigment doesn't stay black very long and might start running. Overall I think that it's a good eyeliner.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - Quick Review

Image
I needed a new mascara, but I didn't know which one to buy, so after reading many reviews about many different mascaras, I landed on this one. This mascara says that this will curl your lashes, make them longer and add volume. I was really excited to try this out, because Fleur de Force and Zoella had loved this.   So first I use the short bristle part of the mascara wand to add volume to the roots and then I turn to the longer side to curl and give length. When I have applied the mascara on my eyelashes, I take an old mascara's clean and dry mascara wand to separate some lashes and remove excess mascara. I really like the mascara's texture. Also when I went to the shower with this mascara, I didn't end up looking like a panda, because the mascara came off my lashes in little chunks. Overall I love the curl and length this mascara gives to my lashes. I would definitely recommend this.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - Quick Review

Image
Great mascara. Currently it is one of my fave mascaras. The texture isn't runny nor clumpy. I really love this mascara's small wand. It's really light and easy to apply with. This mascara doesn't really add volume, mostly just length, which I like, but lately I have been wanting more voluminous lashes. So if you want that, don't buy this one. But otherwise this mascara is really good.  Only problem with this is that, I'm the worst at applying mascara, every time it's just so messy, I always need to have micellar water with me. During summer I used this mascara with   Maybelline's Rocket Volum' Express Waterproof mascara. First I applied Great Lash and Volum' Express , so my mascara wouldn't smudge with sweat or water. I would recommend this product.
