How to level up for 2021

2021 is a year I wanted to approach with a different energy, which is all about focusing on things I like and how to reach my full potential. I'd say the first step for me was to create a vision board for my desktop wallpaper, so I could constantly remind myself of the aesthetic and vibes to channel. But leveling up for 2021 is all about mental and physical glow-up. Mental Educating myself about things I feel like I need in the future. By reading books (there are so many!), watching educating Youtube videos or listening to podcasts. A new discovery was Google Digital Garage, which offers many great beneficial courses for free and a certificate, so you can spice up your CV. Learning to love myself and becoming more confident through it, which I noticed is really important for my happiness. For the past few months I have been on a self-growth journey in a way. I haven't really been happy with the person that I was and I always want to be better, so that has pushed me to this place where I learn and understand new things about myself and the way I cope with everything that's happening around me every single day. It started more intensely when I started my second year in university and found manifesting and law of attraction. At first I really wanted to believe that manifesting is this magical power that will grant me anything I want. In a way it is, but manifesting is more about saying what you want out loud, believeing in yourself that you can get it and then your perception will change. You'll start noticing more opportunities that can lead you there and you'll start doing things that'll get you closer to it. Your experience will change, it's literally science. Being beautiful is a state of mind

It's quite rare to meet someone who thinks that they are beautiful. Like fully believe that they are hot, attractive and beautiful. And it's truly sad, but nowadays with social media it's so easy to compare yourself to others. The illusion and standards of beauty that have been created are so unrealistic and well a photo is simply a photo that is just one moment, one pose from one angle and usually edited. Yet it's easy to be affected by it all and feel that I'm not enough. I actually saw a few TikToks where girls said that at one point they just decided that "I'm hot now, I'm attractive" and their life changed drastically. They were more confident and happier. All that lead to them having a glow up and yes they were gorgeous because of it. But they were also gorgeous before. One girl said that I don't actually look that much different from when I had low self-esteem, so it's sad that I ever let myself think that I wasn't pretty enough....

A year of regular facial treatments for acne - My skin UPDATE!

A year ago I decided to get help from a professional to deal with my hormonal acne. I've gotten 11 facial treatments from my cosmetologist and spent almost 550€ on them. And now I'll talk about the results. Getting a facial treatment for something as serious as my hormonal acne isn't going to "cure" my skin right away. It's more of a journey unfortunately. And the facials alone won't do the trick, you need a certain skincare routine as well. So how has it worked out for me? The first few times my skin wasn't really sure what was going on, but there actually were improvements. I had less inflamed red bumps on my chin and my cheeks and forehead started clearing up. I thought that this was it, the solution I had been searching for! Well, not exactly. Through the summer my skin wasn't actually that bad, it only started getting better. We are beautiful

I think about a lot of things. Some of my thoughts I have even posted here, but since this is more of a beauty blog, especially reviews, I try to keep it that way. Lately I haven't been inspired to even write reviews. I have been cooking a few posts, but I'm not so sure about them. Anyways my make-up obsession has calmed down and I try to create a minimal make-up look for everyday. Usually I would use a perfector for base, mascara and brow mascara. If I feel fancier I add some bronzer and a lip colour. It's important to remember that you don't have to wear make-up. Nowadays most girls do, but it's something that people should do only if they want to, not that they have to. There was a time when I felt confident going to school having only some mattifying powder on my face and mascara, eventhough my skin wasn't clear. Things to do on rainy day : watch TV

I'm a big fan of movies and TV shows. They are a great escape from reality and really entertaining. Since it's been pretty rainy lately, I started watching TV shows again. Here are some of my favourites: Supernatural just finished its 11th season and will be back for the 12th one, so there would be a lot of catching up. I really like it, it's a bit different and a lot of monster hunting tips. If you aren't interested in all 11 seasons, I'd suggest watching just season 1. It's a great introduction to the show. Or from season 1 - season 4. Season 11 was  really really good and we got to see God. Teen Wolf  has got it all. Watch high school students deal with werewolves and other supernatural beings. This began with humour and Scott figuring out this whole werewolf thing, but season 5 was pretty depressing and dramatic.  How I Met Your Mother  is more for those who want comedy and a bit less drama. A breath of fresh air

Summer is my favourite season. Not because there's no school, it's because the nature is blooming, sun is out, there is lightning and it's warm outside. To celebrate that and be healthier, me and my bestie stayed in Otepää for 4 days.  It's a small town that doesn't really have many activities or sights, but there's a lot of sports. So most of the time we were walking and every day we got over 20 000 steps. It was just the perfect place to get out of the city and enjoy nature. We climbed in the adventure park, fooled around on the swings, ate cake and ice cream, visited cemeteries, went rowing on the lake. So with those 4 days we travelled through Otepää and did almost everything there.  There was an energy pillar and a stone labyrinth, where you could gain energy. My June favourites 2016

June has been full of so many interesting things, makeup free and full makeup days. So I thought it would be a good idea to share products that have been with me on my graduation and on those do nothing days.  My all-time favourite mascara is Maybelline Lash Sensational . This brave soldier keeps my lashes long, curled and voluminous.  TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer is the reason I am obsessed with highlighting. The sheen, the glow and the sparkles this highlighter gives, aaah I just love it. Overall this product is just perfection for me. It's summer, it's hot, I'm not. With the heat my skin has been extra oily, so Beauty Made Easy Oil Blotting Sheets became my best friend. These absorb oil instantly, leaving me with matte skin for few hours. Plus these look cute. Sleep is very important, because our bodies need to rest and our brain needs to process the information gotten during the day. The cells renew and you get energy to live. Also more sleep makes you feel better, improves memory, increases creativity, sharpens attention, helps keep healthy weight, lowers stress and more. Little Getaway

Tired of work, routine and all your problems? Why not have a day or few hours away from it all? That's what I do. There are so many different things to do, but my favourites would be walking in town or in the forest and at-home spa. At-home spa is pretty easy. You can take a relaxing bath, apply a face mask or paint nails, etc... But it's all about treating yourself, because you're worth it. I usually take a long shower, clear my skin with a face mask and go to sleep earlier. And the best thing about it? It's at home.  I enjoy walking and discovering new places, but also visiting the old places for memories. Alone is nice to figure things out in my head and enjoy what's around me. With friends it's so nice to talk and listen. Lately I've been visiting the Old Town (in Tallinn) more often. There we go to cafes, stores and take photos of cool places. Changes

When the new year started, everything kind of changed and I felt like I was thrown back into school. So much homework and tests. It's so stressful, especially because I have to go to high school and I want to get into a good school. I know that in 9th you have to study harder, but it was all just slapped into my face. With fighting blemishes and studying, I'm trying not to get stressed and keep calm. Because stress can cause breakouts and my skin is doing better so no. Also I'm trying to stay healthy and fit, because I don't workout so often anymore.  I have become a tea lover. I'm still trying different teas, but currently my favourites are chamomile and rose hip teas. Tea is really good for you, because it contains water, which is necessary for life, it contains herbs that have different benefits (like, rose hip has antioxidants and vitamin C). YOU are worth it

Everyone is different. Everyone has different opinions, thoughts and lives. That's why you can't compare yourself to others, you don't know what they have gone through.  Some people like to say bad things to others, does it really make them feel better? Like why is it good to say something bad to them? Well you shouldn't let that bother you, that's just their opinion or a way to feel better about themselves. So deeply breathe in and out and move on with your life, because it's yours and you shouldn't waste your time on them. Sometimes people get confused with honesty and bullying, because truth hurts. Truth is like falling from the clouds to concrete or hitting your pinky toe on the corner of a wall. But then you deal with it and move on. Once I read a story about a boy with anger issues. On the days when he said bad words, he had to hit a nail in the fence. When the boy didn't say anything bad he could take one nail out of the fence. After awhile ...

Acne Struggles

I'm not happy. I don't want acne to define me or lower my confidence, but sadly it has. I'm still trying to be positive and not think about my face too much. Maybe I will grow out of it or maybe it will continue. I have wasted a lot of money on acne products/ skincare products and I don't want to waste anymore. Before buying products, I research, but still that doesn't mean that they are going to work on me. Maybe my product reviews can help you. I'm also trying to eat healthier. It's difficult, because I don't eat a lot of things I should be eating. Also I've been drinking a lot of water and green tea. I had one goal this summer, and that was to get clearer skin, so hopefully I'd be more confident in school. Sadly it only got worse, so I started wearing foundation to school.  If you are not happy, make yourself happy. You don't like your appearance, change it and so on. Don't forget that you are still in control of your life and you make the decisions. Many people try to affect you, just do what you think is best, while not doing anything that might harm you or others. And you still need to care about other people around you and the planet you are living on, because I know for certain that I want to leave behind an amazing planet where life can still continue. So don't lose yourself and your passions in this crazy, hard, fast life. You have to live with yourself for the rest of your life. I am not happy about many things, but nobody's perfect, so I am still learning to accept these things about myself. I can't change everything. Don't let life beat you down if you have the power to stand up. You are capable of doing so many great things and you don't even know it yet. You were born for a reason and even if you can't find...
