Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream - Quick Review

Image
Dream Pure 8-in-1 BB Cream  has 2% salicylic acid (which is known to fight blemishes) and is for oily skin with SPF 15. I have bought this product three times. The package says that this product:  1 Conceals imperfections 2 Helps protect against the appearance of blemishes 3 Oil-free, non-greasy 4 Minimises the appearance of pores 5 Clarifies the skin's look 6 Conceals redness 7 Hydrates and smoothes 8 Complements skin tone Seems good. Since this is for oily skin, I was hoping this product to be a bit mattifying, like after wearing this for a while, my face gets oily and feels very uncomfortable. This has a light coverage. When I applied it, it didn't look natural. But after few hours, I saw that it looked a lot more natural and also covered more blemishes. For sometime I decided to not use this product, because my blemishes were getting worse and I used this product daily. And my skin got more clear (but then it got worse again). I use this product rarely. I like t

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - Quick Review

Image
Great mascara. Currently it is one of my fave mascaras. The texture isn't runny nor clumpy. I really love this mascara's small wand. It's really light and easy to apply with. This mascara doesn't really add volume, mostly just length, which I like, but lately I have been wanting more voluminous lashes. So if you want that, don't buy this one. But otherwise this mascara is really good.  Only problem with this is that, I'm the worst at applying mascara, every time it's just so messy, I always need to have micellar water with me. During summer I used this mascara with   Maybelline's Rocket Volum' Express Waterproof mascara. First I applied Great Lash and Volum' Express , so my mascara wouldn't smudge with sweat or water. I would recommend this product.

Garnier Pure Active Anti-Spot Exfoliating Scrub - Quick Review

Image
I bought this product randomly.  Garnier Exfoliating Scrub fights spots, fades marks and removes impurities. It also has 2% salicylic acid & Herbasoothe (blueberry extract). It is for oily to spot-prone skin. This product has a creamy texture and microbeads.  It's just a regular facial scrub. It exfoliated my face, which is what I wanted, but I didn't see any special results. Maybe it faded some marks. Of course I didn't use it everyday, which is suggested on the package. I've read that you should use an exfoliating scrub 2-3 times a week, so that's what I did. For few days I actually used this in the mornings and nights, but it was too harsh on my skin. But for my acne I didn't see a big difference, I liked that my face  was smooth and felt really clean after washing with this. I don't think that I will purchase this again.

Australian Bodycare Facial Wash and Spot Stick - Quick Review

Image
I was actually really surprised how well ABC Spot Stick (Antiseptic Stick for Spot Prone Skin) worked. But only for a short time. The Tea Tree Oil is in a small glass package and has a rollerball, because of that it's really easy to apply it and take it with you. The product contains 9% Tea Tree Oil and Witch-Hazel to cool and calm. For me it worked for a week really well, but then it didn't and also since it's really small, it ran out pretty fast. Price 11€ ABC Facial Wash has deep cleansing action and helps prevent spots. It is a gel cleanser and I really like the texture. Kind of feels like you are rubbing oil on your face. I like that it doesn't dry my face and makes my skin feel really clean. After few washes my skin changed and there were less blemishes, but some time later I didn't see those results. Of course other things could've affected that. I would recommend this product, but not sure if i would buy it again, at least right now, because I wan

YOU are worth it

Everyone is different. Everyone has different opinions, thoughts and lives. That's why you can't compare yourself to others, you don't know what they have gone through.  Some people like to say bad things to others, does it really make them feel better? Like why is it good to say something bad to them? Well you shouldn't let that bother you, that's just their opinion or a way to feel better about themselves. So deeply breathe in and out and move on with your life, because it's yours and you shouldn't waste your time on them. Sometimes people get confused with honesty and bullying, because truth hurts. Truth is like falling from the clouds to concrete or hitting your pinky toe on the corner of a wall. But then you deal with it and move on. Once I read a story about a boy with anger issues. On the days when he said bad words, he had to hit a nail in the fence. When the boy didn't say anything bad he could take one nail out of the fence. After awhile

Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion - Review

Image
I was desperately trying to find a miracle product that would get rid of pimples. So I found this. After reading many good reviews about this Drying Lotion, I decided to try it out. It took me a few days to find this product. But was it worth it? Price 12€ On the package there is written: results overnight, proven spot treatment, reduces pimples overnight and safe for sensitive skin. Sounds too good to be true.   So basically this is a sulfur acne treatment, which is very drying. Some reviews said that this made their blemishes worse, because it was just too drying. This product contains maximum strength salicylic acid which exfoliates dead skin cells, allowing the all-natural drying agents to penetrate pores and treat infection. DO NOT SHAKE! Which is written on package. But if you accidentally shake it, don't worry. Just let the pink stuff in the glass bottle set for few hours until the liquid is clear. Then dip a Q-tip in the pink stuff and apply the pink stuff on pimple

For Better Skin - Some Tips

1. Drink Water 2. Wash your face twice a day 3. Eat healthy foods for skin Avocados - a lot of good vitamins and benefits Salmon - anti-inflammatory, also good for your health Yogurt - prevents wrinkles Pomegranates - protects Walnuts - softens skin Sunflower seeds - brightens Kidney beans - clears skin (with Zinc) Green tea - calms redness 4. Foaming Facial Washes

Foaming facial washes are more gentle than gel cleansers. So those are great for sensitive skin or if you prefer more gentle cleansers. My first face cleansers was The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash. That was one of the products that I have completely used, like all of it. I think foam washes are great, but since I have oily acne-prone skin, maybe gel cleansers would be better for me. The Aloe Gentle Facial Wash  was really soothing and nice. The second foaming wash that I have used was The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser which is suitable for blemished skin. It says that instant foam removes impurities and excess oil for clearer looking skin . I like the foam, but I really didn't see a difference on my skin. And the last one I bought was Sebamed Clear Face Antibacterial Cleansing Foam for acne prone skin. The product says that it combats pimples, blackheads and skin impurities, gently deep cleanses pores and has effective antibacterial action Montaline

Natural Code By Lumene Skin Perfector Matt Makeup - Quick review

Image
I was in need for a foundation that would cover my blemishes, didn't make me breakout, didn't clog my pores and wasn't that expensive. So I found this. This a moisturising, mattifying and oil-free foundation. It contains Arctic Tea Tree extract and doesn't have any parabens. Price 9.10€ I really like this, this product gives me a matt look. It doesn't cover everything, but enough and you can layer it, I just usually don't. It lasts long, but for me, my skin still gets oily somewhere at noon. Shade 11 Cream which matches my real skin tone, is a little too light for me right now, since I got a suntan in the summer. I really like this foundation and I would definitely buy it again.

Lumene Basic Blue Day Cream - Quick Review

Image
I bought this because I wanted a simple moisturiser that didn't have any parabens in it. This product has over 90% natural ingredients, it smells like cornflower and it's for all skin types. Price 4.90€ I have to say this product is very moisturising, for my oily skin it's bit too much. I don't know if this product made me breakout or was it the stress (back to school). I liked the creamy texture, but didn't love how fast my skin was oily. Since it's a day cream, I only applied it in the morning after washing my face. And I also used this under my foundation. The foundation was mattifying, so that kept my skin from getting really oily. This is a pretty basic moisturiser. I wouldn't recommend it for people with oily skin. Otherwise it was good, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser - Quick Review

Image
I bought this mostly because Zoella talked about Simple skincare products. The product says it has 2 vitamins (pro-vitamin B5 & vitamin E), 2 skin loving ingredients (glycerin & borage seed oil) and NO artificial perfume or colour and no harsh chemicals. Sounds pretty good, right? It is suitable for sensitive skin and has Zinc in it (which is good).  I only apply it in the morning. It's just a regular moisturiser, but I'm kinda impressed that it keeps my oily skin under control til' the afternoon. But it hasn't really done anything to my skin or acne. It doesn't prevent breakouts (even though I didn't think it would). I think it's good, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Acne Struggles

I'm not happy. I don't want acne to define me or lower my confidence, but sadly it has. I'm still trying to be positive and not think about my face too much. Maybe I will grow out of it or maybe it will continue. I have wasted a lot of money on acne products/ skincare products and I don't want to waste anymore. Before buying products, I research, but still that doesn't mean that they are going to work on me. Maybe my product reviews can help you. I'm also trying to eat healthier. It's difficult, because I don't eat a lot of things I should be eating. Also I've been drinking a lot of water and green tea. I had one goal this summer, and that was to get clearer skin, so hopefully I'd be more confident in school. Sadly it only got worse, so I started wearing foundation to school. I am trying not to care what other people think about my face or maybe they don't care about it at all, but I care about my face and am kinda insecure about it. I
