Changes

When the new year started, everything kind of changed and I felt like I was thrown back into school. So much homework and tests. It's so stressful, especially because I have to go to high school and I want to get into a good school. I know that in 9th you have to study harder, but it was all just slapped into my face. With fighting blemishes and studying, I'm trying not to get stressed and keep calm. Because stress can cause breakouts and my skin is doing better so no. Also I'm trying to stay healthy and fit, because I don't workout so often anymore.  I have become a tea lover. I'm still trying different teas, but currently my favourites are chamomile and rose hip teas. Tea is really good for you, because it contains water, which is necessary for life, it contains herbs that have different benefits (like, rose hip has antioxidants and vitamin C). I drink tea with honey, which is antibacterial. So that has helped me keep calm and healthy.  I also have been eating ...

Eau Thermale Avéne Cleanance Cleansing Gel - Review

It's weird that I haven't done this review earlier, so here it is. It is suitable for oily, blemish prone skin, hypoallergenic and non comedogenic. Cleanance Soapfree Cleansing Gel gently removes impurities from the skin and helps reduce excess sebum thanks to Monolaurin*.  Avéne Thermal Spring Water provides soothing and anti-irritating benefits. It leaves the skin clean, clear and refreshed.  Price 22€ Apply a small amount in the morning and/or evening to wet skin, work up a lather, rinse thoroughly, then pat dry. It's also not drying and after washing skin feels so fresh.  Pros: Travel friendly packaging  Soapless base Mattifies the skin Regulates exc...

DIY Coconut Oil Hand Scrub

Image
When winter arrives, my hands always get super dry. I use many different hand creams, but sometimes it's good to scrub off dead skin cells and moisturise hands with natural coconut oil. This DIY hand scrub is actually really easy to make. You need: Coconut Oil Sugar Jar (optional) Essential oils  Take few tablespoons of coconut oil and put it in a bowl or mug. Then melt it in a microwave.  Pour the oil in a jar. Take sugar and pour that on top of the oil and mix. Add sugar until you get this nice soft consistency or until it looks like melting snow. (Note: It shouldn't be too runny or dry). If you want a nice scent to the scrub, just add few drops of your chosen essential oil. You can decorate the jar if you want. How to use: Wash your hands first (Because you don't want any germs in the scrub. It might expire faster.), take a small amount of scrub, rub it gently on your hands, rinse and dry. After that you can apply hand cream to make hands even more softer. ...

Skin update

I used Duac Gel and Dalacin T for 3 months and I have to say I am impressed. These products were supposed to work and they did. Now my skin is just super dry. I still have dark spots (scars from acne) and few small pimples, but that's mostly it. My skin is so much clearer. My skin used to be a mess and inflamed and just gross, but right now it's under control. So I would recommend to visit a dermatologist when you have acne. Because I spent so much money on acne products that just didn't work. I hoped that I could deal with this myself, but I couldn't. Don't waste money on makeup or some cheap products that claim to get rid of acne. Dermatologist gave me drugs my skin needed and told me to buy facial products only from pharmacy. Also drink a lot of water and eat less junk food. If you have any acne problems I hope you'll get them under control. xoxo

Baby Lips Winter Delight Collection

Image
More Baby Lips ? Yes, Maybelline put out a new Baby Lips Winter Collection , which consists of 4 new shades of lip balms. I got two of them for Christmas, Sweet Apple and Mint Candy.  Both lip balms are moisturising, leaving lips super soft and nice. I think their texture is better than the previous Baby Lips' . Perfect for winter.  Mint Candy gives lips shine and a light pink shade. It doesn't look good on chapped lips, but it repairs them pretty quickly. It has a soft minty scent. Sweet Apple has a dark pink shade, perfect if you want a darker lip colour.   You could definitely rock this at a party.  I'm not a big fan of the scent. I like both a lot, especially for cold winter days. These are better than the other Baby Lips I've tried, but that's just my opinion. I hope y'all gonna have a wonderful winter and stay warm :) xoxo

My Baby Lips Addiction

Image
I really like lip balms. For a while I had an addiction for collecting and using them. Everything is okay now, but I have bunch of Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms. So why not review them.  I have 7 Baby Lips currently. 5 from the original collection and 2 from Electro collection.  Cherry Me (orange-red) was the first one I got. It smells like cherries and has a nice cherry shade. Sooo good... Hydrate (blue-pink) doesn't have any colour, hydrates. Mint Fresh (green-purple) smells like peppermint and leaves lips feeling refreshed, it's the most drying out of all. Peach Kiss (purple-peach) has a soft peach shade, leaves my lips shiny. Intense Care (yellow-orange) softens my lips. Surprisingly Baby Lips lip balms are kind of drying, but I like how they're not super sticky, all of them smell good and their colours are so fun. These 2 lip balms are a bit more rare. The entire Electro collection is based on neon colours, which is really cool. Oh! Orange!...

Cute DIY Candy Cane Treat

Image
Want to add something cute to your gifts? Why not candy cane white chocolate hearts? They're really easy to make.  All you need is 2 candy canes (per treat) and some white chocolate. Place 2 candy canes in a heart shape on a plate or baking paper sheet. Melt the white chocolate and pour it in the heart. You can add sprinkles or tiny pieces of candy cane. Then put the heart(s) in the fridge and let it harden for a few hours. When packing the treats you can be as creative as you can. Happy holidays!! xoxo

Simple DIY Marble Clay Bowl

Image
I wanted to make something unique and handmade for Christmas presents, so after I had browsed Pinterest for hours, I found cute DIY marble bowls. It seemed the easiest out of other DIY's.  What you need: Modelling clay  I chose air drying clay, because it's less messier. You can buy many different colours of clay. For the base colour I bought white, other colours I used were blue, pink and black. Bowls Basically this is your choice. I used bowls to get the shape. Gloss varnish and a paintbrush Varnish gives bowls a nice finish. First take some pieces of different colour clay and roll them into strips. Base colour pieces should be the biggest. Then twist the strips and roll them into one big strip. Make it into a ball and roll it out until it is as thick as you want the bowl to be. After that, cut out a circle or any shape you want and then I'd suggest placing it in a bowl for shape. My clay was supposed to dry in 24 hours, but I didn't...

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil For Hair - Review

Image
Taking care of long hair isn't that easy. Thanks to hair oil I can tame, nourish and make my hair ends look healthy. This is the first hair oil I've owned and I'm pretty happy with the results. Dove's hair oil is a nourishing treatment with African macadamia oil for all hair types. Since you only need 3-4 pumps of oil, it's gonna last for a pretty long time. The smell is strong and unpleasant for me, but after drying, it's less noticeable. Oil leaves my hair soft and shiny, it's not heavy, no buildup. Hair looks healthy and thick. For the price and quality, I think this is an amazing product.

OGX Luxurious Moroccan Argan Créme Shampoo and Conditioner - Review

Image
OGX is my favourite hair product brand, so I just had to buy a new shampoo from them. They have such a wide range of products, but one that stood out to me was luxurious morocca argan créme . Since it's cold outside, my hair tends to get dry, luckily this shampoo is extra moisturising. Indulge in argan oil, whipped into an opulent, decadent créme to lavish each strand in moisture, smoothing and nourishing the outer cuticle for super-hydrated, soft, shiny hair. The scent is pretty strong, sharp and chemical. I was expecting better. But when my hair was completely dry, WOW... Silky, shiny, soft, hydrated hair. The results were amazing. My hair also feels thicker. I definitely recommend this.
