NYX Cosmetics Matte Lip Cream - Review

Image
My unhealthy obsession with matte lip colors and my friend  Kelly raving about NYX   Lip Cream ,  I was just really hoping that maybe one day one of these will be mine. Later I found out that NYX was opening their first store in Estonia at a beauty fair. I had no idea that there we had to stand in line, because there wasn't enough space for shoppers.   NYX's Matte Lip Creams have been really popular due to their great formula, big range of shades and good price. Before shopping I had chosen the shades I wanted. Unfortunately there weren't any of them, so I grabbed three shades that looked like something I'd wear. I have been looking for the perfect nude matte lip color, but I guess that is not meant to be.  Price 7,26€ The lip cream gives lips a bright and long-lasting, lightweight finish. It may be a bit drying. After drinking and eating the color still stays on. It is pretty transfer proof when dry. The wand could be better, but I haven't had any proble

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) - Review

Image
Effaclar DUO[+]  is a anti-blemish cream, specifically formulated to target the key signs of oily, blemish-prone skin.  La Roche-Posay is a French pharmacy brand and known for their sensitive and effective products. This product has won beauty awards and has many people saying that this is the best anti-acne product ever. Well... Price 19,99€ This is similar to Avéne Cleanance Expert. After applying, this left my skin velvety. My skin didn't get oily so fast, which is a plus. I applied this in the morning and evening after cleansing. At first I saw some results, but slowly. Then after a while just no, my skin was horrible. I had high expectations for this product, but it feels like nothing can fight against acne.  And here is my experience. After 1 week- At the beginning my skin was getting worse and I was really worried. But by the end of the week my skin is looking better. Less redness, fewer breakouts, scars fading faster and skin is smoother. 2 weeks- Again I had

Image
In need for a cheaper drugstore full coverage foundation? Try Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation With Comfort Serum. With SPF 20. They say that this blends flawlessly, seamlessly, instantly and easily into the skin. And that this is sweat, humidity and transfer proof up to 25 hours. Well not exactly. Price 7,99-9,99€ This foundation blended nicely into the skin, but left a sticky finish (even with powder). Full coverage wasn't thick and was lightweight. The coverage is buildable, but then it gets really sticky and thick. It definitely transfers onto clothes (my dark blue coat proves that). Finish was natural.  After 5-6 hours my skin was shining like a diamond and the foundation felt uncomfortable. This stayed on with sweat and humidity, only coverage was slightly lighter and cake-y. After 10 hours coverage was a lot lighter and didn't look attractive. I wore this with and without a primer. With primer the foundation stayed matte longer, but without primer the foun
